  • My Role:

    • I provided building physics consultancy for this project during my time at LAROS Technologies/Consulting.

    • Including designPH and PHPP input, thermal bridge modeling, and Passive House certification management.

  • PHPP Challenge:

    • Optimizing the thermal envelope for a narrow urban site to ensure high-performance comfort while maintaining the bright, spacious architectural vision for a single-family CLT home.

Commercial Office & Showroom, Fyshwick

  • My Role:

    • I provided building physics consultancy for this project during my time at LAROS Technologies/Consulting.

    • Including PHPP check, thermal bridge modeling, etc.

  • PHPP Challenge:

    • Navigating the integration of a prefabricated CLT and joist-stud structure within an existing warehouse shell to meet strict thermal envelope requirements.

Balgowlah CLT House Extension

  • My Role:

    • I provided building physics consultancy for this project during my time at LAROS Technologies/Consulting.

    • Including designPH and PHPP input, thermal bridge modeling, and Passive House certification management.

  • PHPP Challenge:

    • Managing the complexities of a 2-storey extension in a tight urban backyard, specifically balancing the constraints of preserving established gum trees while achieving Passive House thermal performance in a prefabricated CLT structure.

Blue Mountains Residence, Faulconbridge
